Getting started

What can I send you?

Complete, readable files of your pages, made however you like: paper logbooks, airline or charter journey logs, and crew-log printouts. Records you export yourself, such as airline crew-log or schedule records, work too. We work only from your files and never take paper, so your original books stay with you.

What do I get back?

Your logbook file for the app you chose, and a Corrections report that lists every change we made and anything we couldn’t confirm. See a sample report or a sample spreadsheet file.

Which logbook apps do you support?

ForeFlight, LogTen and MyFlightbook import files, or a spreadsheet (CSV) that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Tell us which app you use when you ask for a quote.

I’m under 18. Can I order?

Yes. A parent or legal guardian signs the service agreement for you, in their own name. Tick “The pilot is under 18” on the quote form. They open the Accept button in the quote email and sign there.

Do I need my own ForeFlight, LogTen or MyFlightbook account?

Yes. We send you a file made for your app’s import, not an account. You need your own account with the app, at your own cost. If you add “We import it for you”, we import the file into your own account. LogClimb isn’t affiliated with ForeFlight, LogTen, MyFlightbook or any other app.

Do I need to mail my paper logbooks?

No. We never take paper. You keep your books and send us complete, readable files of every page, including the pages with totals, made however you like, through the private upload link we send you, or by email. What we need

Price and timing

How do I pay?

After you sign the service agreement online, you pay the 50% deposit through a secure payment link: card or US bank account, handled by Stripe. Zelle or a check work too; just reply to your quote email. The balance is due on delivery, with the same kind of link on your invoice. Your card and bank details go to Stripe, never to us.

How is the price worked out?

You pay per flight line, meaning each flight entry, not per page. Your quote is based on your own estimate. The final bill counts the lines actually in your logbook, so it can go up or down. The remarks column isn’t included in the line price. Add remarks for $0.10 each; we bill only the remarks we type.

We take a 50% deposit to start, and the balance is due on delivery. Texas clients add Texas sales tax. See Pricing for the full list.

What’s the difference between Standard and Audited?

On a Standard order, a trained reviewer checks each page against the files you sent, and you get the Corrections report.

An Audited order adds a senior reviewer, who audits the finished pages before delivery. Only Audited orders get the senior audit.

How long does it take?

10 business days* for logbooks under 1,500 lines and 15 business days* for 1,500 lines or more, counted from when we have your pages and deposit. Rush service (+50%) brings books under 1,500 lines down to 5 business days*. *Our latest delivery date. Many orders are finished sooner, depending on our workload.

Can you put the logbook into my app for me?

Yes. Add “We import it for you” to your order: $29 per app, free with Audited orders, and included in monthly upkeep. After the import we check it went through and your totals show in the app.

You choose how we get in: you import our file yourself, you sign in while we share a screen, or you set a temporary password for your app account and change it as soon as we’re done. We never ask for your regular password.

Can you keep my logbook up to date afterwards?

Yes. Monthly upkeep is $19 a month for up to 60 entries, or $39 for up to 150. Student pilots pay $9 a month for up to 30 entries, and active CFIs $29 a month for up to 150. Send files of each month’s pages and we add them to your digital logbook.

Accuracy and privacy

What if something on my pages is unclear?

We ask you instead of guessing. Anything we fix or can’t confirm is listed in your Corrections report, so you can see every change.

What if you got an entry wrong?

Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we fix it free, and send you an updated file and Corrections report.

Will my digital logbook be perfect?

We check every page carefully, and the Corrections report shows you exactly what we changed. You stay responsible for your logbook, so look over the file before you rely on it, and keep your original paper books.

What happens to my files?

Each client’s files are kept apart, and every time a file is opened or downloaded, it’s logged. Your page files are deleted from our computer 90 days after delivery, unless you ask us to keep them.

How will you contact me about my order?

By email. If you choose “Email and WhatsApp” on the quote form, we may also message you on WhatsApp about your order. We only message you on WhatsApp if you chose it, and you can ask us to use email only at any time.

Is LogClimb approved by the FAA or another aviation authority?

No. LogClimb is an independent conversion service. It is not approved or endorsed by the FAA or any other aviation authority, or by any logbook app maker.
